Purpose

What this policy is designed to do.

To establish a consistent human-rights standard across our own workforce and relevant parts of our supply chain, especially where operations involve vulnerable people or challenging environments.

Who it applies to: Employees, contractors, temporary workers, suppliers and operational partners where Lion & Leo can reasonably influence working conditions or business conduct.

Our commitments

The standards we expect in practice.

These principles guide decisions, conduct and day-to-day execution across the relevant parts of our business.

01

Respect the dignity and fundamental rights of workers and affected communities.

02

Do not tolerate forced labor, trafficking, child labor, degrading treatment or unlawful discrimination.

03

Promote equal opportunity and fair employment decisions based on role requirements and performance.

04

Support safe working conditions and lawful working arrangements.

05

Protect people who raise human-rights concerns in good faith from retaliation.

How we apply it

Controls that turn policy into evidence.

Controls are scaled to the nature, value and risk of the activity rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all checklist.

01

Employment screening and documented HR processes.

02

Supplier due diligence proportionate to the level of risk.

03

Escalation of serious allegations to senior management or compliance personnel.

04

Corrective-action plans where weaknesses are identified and remediation is possible.

05

Termination or disengagement where severe violations cannot be responsibly resolved.

Accountability

Clear ownership matters.

HR manages workplace standards and employee concerns.

Procurement and contract owners monitor significant supplier risks.

Managers are expected to intervene when abusive conduct is observed or reported.

Compliance supports investigation and remediation of serious allegations.
